1. Will my cookies arrive broken?

Our cookies are packaged with the utmost care. It is very rare to have breakage during shipment. However, should your cookies arrive in less than perfect condition, please contact customer service via email: We ask that you retain all product and packaging for inspection by our shipping carrier. Your claim must be made within 24 hours from the time the gift is received. My Own Cookie wants your experience to be a 'fortune'-ate one. If your gift arrives damaged or broken we will replace it. 

2. Can I place my order early? 

Yes, just let us know the date you need the order “in hand” in the comments section as you check out via phone, fax, or online. Your order will be held so that it will be received fresh and on time. 

3. Do you print logos on any of your packaging? 

We can print your color logo on a clear label and place the label directly on our packaging for the regular sized fortune cookies and most of our favor boxes. We can also print your color logo on the fortunes placed inside our regular sized fortune cookies at no extra charge. Just email the logo as an attachment. Be sure to refer to your order by name or order number when you email the attachment.
**If you are ordering early (at least 2 weeks before product is needed), we can work with our printer to have your logo printed directly on your choice of boxes or packaging. You would be charged exact cost for this service. 

4. Can I have extra messages? 
We will accommodate most requests for additional messages at no extra charge. Just give us your idea and extra messages in the comments section of the order form as you checkout. If there is any extra cost involved, you will be notified before your order is processed. 

5. Do you include an invoice with your orders? 

Invoices are not included with orders as they arrive as a gift packaged. If you need a receipt, please contact us and we will send one to you. 

6. Do you ship to P.O. boxes? 

We currently do not ship to P.O Boxes 

7. Do you ship out of the country or to A.P.O. boxes? 

At this time we do not ship to these types of addresses. 

8. What if no one is home to receive the cookie? 

The UPS or Fed Ex will usually leave the cookie at the door. Our packages are marked to “protect from heat” so, sometimes, USPS will try to re-deliver the order the next day. To prevent the possibility of melting (if no one will be home to receive the cookie), you may consider shipping the cookie to your work address or to an address where you know someone will be home to take the package inside. 

9. Do you have special requirements for shipping chocolate products during warmer months? 

Yes! **All Giant Fortune Cookies will be shipped a least 2nd air via FED EX between the months of June through September to prevent melting** If you feel that shipping is too expensive, please be assured we do not make money off of shipping charges. We are charging what the shipping companies are charging us. Summer shipping is difficult. In order to guarantee chocolate dipped products, you must ship via overnight (rather expensive). If you do not want to pay that much, please visit us after September when everything cools off and we can offer cheaper shipping methods while still guaranteeing our products. 

10. Do you package in other color boxes or with other colors of ribbon? 

We can meet most special packaging requests for a minimal extra charge. Please contact customer service at, use the online assistance buttons located at the lower left hand side of each page, or fax us toll free 1 866-398-1140 

11. Will my cookie arrive melted or broken? 

We package all of our fortune cookies with the utmost care to protect them from any rough handling during shipping. Most orders placed during the summer are packaged with ice packs to keep your cookies cool. All orders are in perfect condition and packed very well when shipped. Very rarely, packages can be handled roughly enough to cause breakage. If this is the case, please contact us via phone or email. We will make the situation right. Please make sure to read our Summer Shipping Requirements on our shipping page before placing your order to ensure the best possible shipment method for the items you are ordering. 

12. Is there any way that I can know which message is in which cookie? 

Yes! We have removable stickers that can be placed on the outer wrap for each cookie BY REQUEST. These stickers can be removed before you give the cookies to the recipient. Part of the fortune message will be printed on each sticker to indicate which cookie is which. 

13. Can you accommodate a rush order? 

Depending upon how busy we are at the time, we can fit in rush order (even large ones). Please contact customer service at, use the online assistance buttons located at the lower left hand side of each page, or fax us toll free 1 866-398-1140. 

14. Do you have quantity discounts? 

Yes! Most of our quantity discounts are indicated on our website. However, we do not list all quantity discounts for very large or recurring orders. 15. Can I pay with a check or money order? 

We do not accept checks or money orders for internet sales at this time.
