Shipping:
Please keep in mind that you must choose the appropriate shipping method to go with your delivery date. We usually require one to two business days for baking and processing your order (bulk orders may take longer and we will contact you in accordance). Thus, if you need your item to be delivered in three days or less, we recommend choosing 2nd day or overnight shipping. By doing this please fill out the "Deliver By" section. For longer turn around times, use the more economical shipping methods offered. We will contact you if we will be unable to ship by your requested date for any reason, in most case this will not be a problem
My Own Cookie uses United Parcel Service and FedEx to ship all of our orders. Additionally, some orders may be transferred to the best available shipping carrier (UPS or FEDEX) at the company's discretion.
**All chocolate dipped cookies between the months of May through September will be shipped via Overnight or 2 Day air depending on the location, this is too prevent melting of all chocolates.**

Extra Shipping charges:
UPS and FedEx charge $10.00 for each incorrect shipping address that they have to correct, please double check your shipping address when in putting your address. You will receive a confirmation email to be sure that all info delivery information is correct. If UPS or FedEx has to correct the shipping address that the customer provided, extra charges will become the customer responsibility. We sometimes interchange shipments with Fed Ex and USPS when needed to meet deadlines.
Weekends and Holidays:
Remember that weekends and holidays extend the number of days it takes a package to ship. Email confirmation and tracking numbers will be sent via email. Spam filters block our emails sometimes. Please be sure to add sales@myowncookie.com to your list of accepted emails. Chocolate melts! If you know you are shipping during warmer months or too locations with a warmer climate, please try to ship to a work address or a location where you know someone will be home to receive the package. Please also see our Summer Shipping Requirements below.
All major Holidays:
For Guaranteed orders on Valentines Day February 14th we recommend choosing FedEx Next or 2nd Day delivery on all shipments. Orders that are not Guaranteed may be delivered a Day earlier. Thank you very much, Myowncookie.com
Packaging:
We package all of our fortune cookies with the utmost care to protect them from any rough handling during shipping. All orders are in perfect condition and packed very well when shipped. We guarantee our products 100%!
Summer shipping requirements:
During hot months (May 1st through September 30th), we suggest that you choose Next Day Air or 2nd Day Air at the minimum. Cold packs will be packaged with most orders to prevent melting. Please ensure that the recipient is available to receive the package upon arrival. We suggest that you have the item delivered to an address where you know someone will be available to accept the package and/or leaving a note for your postal carrier to leave the item with a neighbor who will be home to accept the package. Having items delivered to work addresses can also alleviate this potential melting problem.
Returns and Damage orders:
Our cookies are packaged with the utmost care, it’s is very rare to have breakage during shipment. Should your cookies arrive in less than perfect condition, please contact customer service via email: sales@myowncookie.com or call at 866-398-1140 press #1 for sales? We ask that you retain all product and packaging for inspection by our shipping carrier. Your claim must be made within 24 hours from the time his or her gift is received.
